Dear PES Families,

It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce myself to you as Principal of Paro Elementary School. I am honored and can assure you that it is my intention to uphold the spirit of excellence in education at PES.

I join PES and the Dzongkhag education sector after serving 10 years with MoE and K.Gangri Primary School for the last six years. During that time, I held a variety of roles including elementary classroom teacher, Instructional Facilitator, Paro Sports Association’s basketball secatary and later appointed as regional director Basketball association by BoC and Master Teacher, trained by Tamasake foundation , educare Singapore on 21st Century learning pedagogy and cooperative learning structures of Dr. kagan Spenser. Trained around 200 teacher. Each role provided new perspectives and learning opportunities that inspired innovation and led to an understanding of all that can be accomplished when a community shares a vision and works together.

The well being of students will remain at the heart of every decision we will make at PES. I look forward to the opportunities we will have to partner together to ensure our children have positive school experiences. Elementary school years are an important time in the growth and development of children. At PES, the teachers, staff, and I will work closely to create an environment where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired to achieve their personal best.

I am excited and look forward to working with you to maintain the legacy of greatness at PES and also achieve the goal and vision of our king to let the education make our children person of substance and life long learners. With this strong sense of native grit and service we have to contribute to our nation and children I shall lead this school with pride.
