About Us
Paro Elementary School and E.C.C.D is a relatively new school. Though initially operated under a different name and management, Paro Elementary School has had a major facelift in terms of infrastructure, management, faculty and services. We help children engage their bodies and mind through fun and educational activities.

Our Mission
Paro Elementary School &E.C.C.D strives to provide a safe, engaging and positive learning experience that empowers all students to contribute to an ever-changing global society. We value the principles of serving the country and serving mankind.
Our history
We have been officially established since January 2020. Founded by Mr. Jigme Tashi, Mrs Dema khangsar and MrsJambay Wangmo.

Our graduates
Children graduate from Paro Elementary School with the skills they need to succeed in life or high school. In surveys, kindergarten and higher grade teachersof other schools report that PES graduates are enthusiastic learners who are socially and academically ready for the years ahead.
In PES, we give bilingual lessons – although primarily, the native tongue of every Bhutanese child is Dzongkha! We ensure that our graduates of both ECCD and Primary section are well versed in both English and Dzongkha language. Be it reading, speaking or writing, our students have an upper hand in all.
Our School
Our families come from nearby neighborhoods, creating a close-knit environment and strong parent partnerships. Whether we’re close to home or near the office, our center is ideal for busy working families and easy to get to – for pick-up and drop-off or to stop in for a visit.
We use fun, research-based, multi-sensory strategies to help children develop early learning skills, including Lively Letters, Open Court for phonics and literacy, Handwriting Without Tears, and Everyday Math. We use Responsive Classroom as the basis for our social and emotional learning curriculum throughout the school.
Health & Safety
Your child’s health and safety are our top priority. Our school has strict guidelines for cleanliness and security and we’re proud to be recognized as a health-and-wellness model for child care centersand school for a Healthier Bhutan.
At PES, we make your child’s health and safety our top priority. Our standards are the highest in the country, meeting or exceeding all health guidelines.
Our school includes:
